1967 Mustang 390 Convertible in Candyapple Red with a white power top and black bucket seat interior. Beautiful condition, factory S-code 390 car with only 47,852 actual miles. The 390 engine has been professionally rebuilt 1000 miles ago with additions including a Crane PowerMax 260/272 cam, Edelbrock 750 cfm carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, Accel electronic ignition, and hardened valve seats. A chrome dress-up kit (air cleaner assembly, valve covers, & alternator) was also fitted. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note from the free-flow duals. Runs perfectly on premium unleaded and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. Pulls HARD through the rev range and feels like a 428 car with loads of torque and instantaneous throttle response everywhere in the rev range. The factory C6 automatic transmission shifts perfectly and the 2.79 9" rearend provides relaxed highway cruising. Power steering for easy maneuvering and huge drums brakes work perfectly.

Very nice black bucket seat interior. Minimal wear on the seat covers, excellent carpets, very nice dash. Excellent original steering wheel with no cracks and all instruments work properly (speedometer, oil pressure, water temperature, amps, & fuel). All lights work correctly as does the horn & wipers. Factory AM radio (disconnected) still in place. Remote driver's side mirror. Very nice interior.

Excellent body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler or body work. Panel fit is factory perfect and all gaps are correct. There are two small floor pan repairs (shown in photos) under the rear seat. Beautiful paint in Candyapple Red done in modern acrylic urethane base/clear and then sanded & buffed to a smooth lustrous shine. This was a factory Springtime Yellow car that was expertly changed several years ago when it was taken down to bare metal. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Power convertible top in brand new condition; operates quickly & smoothly when you press the button.  Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk seal. Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear and excellent brightwork & trim. Factory chrome Rallye wheels fitted with raised-white-letter radials. The trunk contains the rubber mat, spare tire, and jack. Just professionally detailed, buffed, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Extremely nice big block convertible that runs & drives perfectly.
