| 1950 Mercury Street Custom in Cobalt Blue
with purple ghost flames, louvered rear skirts, louvered hood, chrome
dummy spots, Lake side pipes, chrome wheel covers, and a gray ultrasuede
interior with a Dakota digital dash. Phenomenal show car from Florida
with only 4,376 miles since completion that runs & drives perfectly and
has ice cold air conditioning. The original engine has been
replaced with a 350/300 horsepower Chevrolet upgraded with an Edelbrock
600 cfm four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, Comp 280
street cam, and an electronic ignition system. Fires right up and
settles into a smooth idle with a deep but subtle exhaust note from the
dual chrome tips. Runs nicely on premium pump gas and there are no
mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The turbo 350
transmission shifts perfectly and the early Ford 9' 3.00 rearend allows
relaxed highway driving. Power steering and power brakes for safe easy
driving. Gorgeous interior with both front & rear seats done in rolled & pleated Dove Gray ultrasuede and Dove Gray velvet interior door panels. Full Dakota digital dash has Speed, RPM, Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, & Amps. Tilt steering column with a chrome custom steering wheel. Ice cold air conditioning, blows colder than my Acura NSX. Premium Pioneer stereo with remote control; sounds great. Tinted windows. Very sharp interior. Excellent body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler. Panel fit is perfect, I cannot find any patches or bodywork and the hood has been shoved and louvered. Lovely paint done in Cobalt Blue with purple ghost flames on the nose and doors. All paint is done in acrylic urethane base/clear and the ghost flames, under the clear, are only visible at certain angles in certain light conditions. Show chromed front & rear bumper and front grille assembly. All brightwork has been professionally polished and is excellent. Dual dummy spots. Louvered rear fender skirts. Chrome Lake side pipes. Tinted windows and all windows operate smoothly including the two rear pop outs. Show detailed trunk compartment & engine bay. 15' wheels with chrome wheelcovers fitted with 215-70-15 whitewall radial tires. Just block sanded, polished, hand waxed, show detailed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Runs & drives perfectly. VERY VERY NICE CAR. |
